Each ingredient is carefully selected with our passion to create the perfect tonkatsu. At Saboten, we only use premium pork lightly coated with our house-made bread crumbs to ensure the juice of the cutlets is preserved. Our tonkastu is accompanied with our special sauce made of onions, carrots, tomatoes, apples and over 10 different spices to bring out the best flavour.



Our cutlet is made of aged pork, which gives our cutlet a rich flavour and a subtle taste of sweetness with a juicy and tender texture. The selected breed is raised with care in a wonderful environment to ensure a healthy and delicious taste experience.

The bread crumbs made from our special house-made bread daily for our tonkatsu is a secret to our light, crispy and non-greasy cutlets. After many trials and errors, we invented our own house-made bread crumbs, which is both crispy and less oil absorbing.



There is no finer tonkatsu sauce than our house-made secret sauce made in Hokkaido. Our sauce is made of onions, carrots, tomatoes, apples and over 10 different spices, simmered to perfect taste and thickness to bring out the best flavour of our tonkatsu.



Our sauce is accompanied with premium gound black and white sesame seeds. Sesame is high in calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, vitamin B1, zinc and dietary fiber. The roasted sesame powder adds a nice nutty aroma and flavour to the sauce achieving the perfect balance between health, nutrition and taste.



The premium short grain rice we selected has a unique characteristic in its texture, aroma, and taste, adding a degree of sophistication to any rice dish. The rice has an enticing aroma, smooth and creamy texture and mildly sweet flavour, perfect with our tonkatsu.
